Enjoying life to it's fullest....and getting out to see the world one family adventure at a time.
- Started taking pictures in 2003 when my then fiance (now wonderful wife) bought me my first digital camera, a Canon G2, for Christmas. Little did I know how much that gift would change my life.
- Realized that climbing mountains and photography was an addictive combination.
- Focused on seeing Colorado, using John Fielder's guidebooks to chart our course
- Took a job in Beautiful BC, Canada in 2005.
- Being in BC opened up a whole new world of adventures and photo opportunities.
- Went all over BC and the Pacific Northwest on weekend getaways and week-long road trips.
- Fell in love with Oregon, Northern California, and the Coast Mountains of BC
- Almost moved to Toronto for work, but decided the West was Best and stayed in BC for a short while longer (so glad we made that choice!)
- Had a chance to move back to Colorado and jumped on it.
- Now that we're back, we're taking full advantage of our Central location to everything, specifically some of the National Parks within striking distance. We've visited the following parks in the past few months: Bryce, Arches, Zion, Badlands, Rocky Mountain, Glen Canyon.
- This past Summer was very busy...we were able to squeeze in Vail, The Indian Peaks, The Great Sand Dunes NP, Banff/Lake Louise, Hawaii, and the Sneffels Wilderness area. Amazing spots.
- Now it's time to build the Fall plans....so far, we're looking at 2 main trips. The first to Crested Butte to witness the Fall colors and the Aspens changing. The second to Zion National Park to see Fall colors and hopefully see the Narrows and Subway.
